Panthers Fall In 13 Innings To Youngstown State

5/15/2008 - Eric Marzec drove in the winning run in the top of the 13th inning to give Youngstown State a 5-4 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee baseball team in the nightcap of a doubleheader at Miller Park Thursday night. The Panthers (20-34, 10-15 Horizon) tied the game in the bottom of the ninth to send it to extra innings, but left 16 runners on base in falling in heartbreaking fashion to the Penguins (23-30, 13-11 Horizon). Six Panthers Head To Last Chance Qualifiers This Weekend

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's and women's track and field teams will have six athletes in action this weekend at last chance qualifiers at Louisville's Cardinal Twilight and the Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday. Sophomores Tyler Bucholz and Laura Ring will compete at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, while juniors Adam Schleis and Patrick Casey and sophomores Quinn Mongoven and Erin Havener will head to Louisville.
