Panthers Fall At Northern IowaMarch 31, 2003 WATERLOO, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa built a 6-0 lead before hanging on for a 6-3 win over the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Monday afternoon. UWM (7-8) scored three times in the top of the ninth inning but it was not enough to overcome four Panther errors and 11 hits by UNI (9-13). Dave Pudlosky had two hits for UWM while Ben Stanczyk accounted for all three UWM runs with a three-run home run. Geoff Lefeber (1-2) allowed five earned runs and 10 hits in six innings in absorbing the loss.
UWM returns to action Wednesday afternoon with a doubleheader at Bradley.
