CHICAGO - David Bailey scored 23 points to lead three Ramblers in double figures as Loyola Chicago beat Cleveland State, 69-57, Tuesday night in a first round game of the Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship at the Gentile Center. The fourth-seeded Ramblers (16-15) shot 51.7 percent in the second half to pull away from the ninth-seeded Vikings (8-22), who trailed just 25-21 at halftime. Demetrius Williams added 14 points and Paul McMillan tossed in 13 for the Ramblers. Tahric Gosley had 16 points and 10 rebounds while Percell Coles and Jonathan Burge added 12 points apiece for Cleveland State.
Loyola outrebounded Cleveland State, 46-30, and the Ramblers forced 19 Viking
turnovers.
