Voting For Greatest Team In School History Now Underway
Milwaukee celebrating 25th year of women's soccer by honoring its best

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (July 7, 2008) - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's soccer team's celebration of its 25th year continues this week with the start of voting for the Greatest Team in school history. Voting is open through the remainder of the month of July.
The celebration got underway in June, as alumni, fans and supporters were encouraged to vote for the 25th Anniversary Starting 11 throughout the month. During August, voting will be open on the Greatest Game in school history.
Eight seasons of the Panthers' first 24 have been singled out for voting, based on success, accomplishments, as well as significance of its place in school history. The Greatest Team in school history be announced at halftime of UWM's game against Detroit on Oct. 24.

In celebrating its 25th year of women's soccer, Milwaukee will be honoring its past throughout the season, including counting down the 10 greatest games in school history at each home game. The Panthers will also don commemorative patches all season long as they go for a ninth-straight Horizon League regular season championship.

| To Vote for the Greatest Team in school history, simply select your top three teams in school history. Rank the teams 1-3, with "1" being the best. Each ballot is allowed one write-in.
